Hidden Meaning :Blurred Lines

Blurred Lines the song was the number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 this year. It is also the number one song /hit on the Billboard R&B Songs and has been one of Robin_Thicke’s most successful songs in his career. Blurred Lines is known worldwide, but did you know what the song really means? Well urbandictionary.com  meaning of blurred lines is the "lines" are personal boundaries a person designates in his/her sexual life. They usually only appear "blurred" to men who don't comprehend the meaning of "no." That’s a shocker right! You would never think a song that has a catchy beat could mean something that most people don’t think about when they are singing the song.

             I really did like this song I thought it was a good song because of its catchy tone and how it sound easy-going and laid-back can make the song get stuck in your head easily. Liking the song or not, it’s about rape. Rape is a very teaching subject to talk about; most times you don’t hear people talking about rap as an east-going or laid black topic in any situation. The fact that most people think of Blurred Lines as jest a song and will listened to it multiple times and never once think about rape or harassment means that most people don’t care what they listen to and don’t know. The fact that Robbin Thicke's intentions to write a song about rape and all of these people hearing it on the radio are singing it unaware that what they are describing is rape, which is the hidden meaning behind this song that most people don’t know when they are sing it.  

            There are many opinions of what people think about blurred lines, some people interpret the meaning of the song completely different and think that it’s not about rap. When I first heard it and was surprised when I read some of the reviews that talked about rape. I usually have no problem jumping in a conversation about woman's rights and rape culture, but I genuinely think the meaning of this song has been misconstrued. It bothers me how we can have real issues concerning gender discrimination and rape out there, yet this song is the primary focus of discuss. Whether this song is about rape, date rape or sexual harassment, I will leave to your interpretations but honestly I find this song gross, disgusting, degrading, belittling and low to women and if people can’t understand that, then they must not care how women should be treated.

Phones

 

            Phones you can do anything with them, you can search the web, play music, watch movies and even find a place you are look for with a GPS app.  But most of what we use our phone for is Texting. We are constantly on it. We treat it as if it’s our one and only love and nothing can or will hurt it.  It takes up 90% of our everyday life. According to clinical psychologist Michael J. Breus, Ph.D.,teenagers send approximately 100 text messages per day, amounting to a whopping 3,400 text messages every month(.globalpost.com) . That’s a lot of texting for jest a month! Our phone is everything to use, but there are many things that are not so good about them.

            Having a phone has advantage and disadvantages. There are a lot of advantages of mobile phone, it is a good technology to communication with people wherever and whenever you want to give important information or talk to your love one far and near. For example your car broke in the middle of not where no way to get out you can just get your phone and call for help this is one of the way phone effect people on the positive side. In some part of Africa some people are lock of communication for that reason they cannot talk to  their  family member .                                                                                                                   

             Some disadvantage phone  have in America is some people misusing phone like bullying their friend on line that can lead to people killing their self just for phone another one is see  stuff that is not appropriate for them and also phone have effect teenager not to pay attention in class and destroy they relationship with their parent. And one major problem is that people are texting while driving this is one of the problem in America some parents and teenage are so addicted to phone that they hand cannot stay a second without taking phone and looking out something that is not necessary one important disadvantage of phone is that you spend more on phone bill but some teenager do not care because they are not the want who is paying for their phone bill so they texting call and do what every they want to do.

             I think that phones have taken over our generation. We should use them for good proposes and not bad ones. We as a generation have the technology to do many things with phones and could, but we don’t choose to.  I think we should all think before we send a text or not text in places that could hurt our lives or others. I hope that people think about how much our phones are controlling our lives and that we should take some time and enjoy what we have before its gone and not be on our phones.

Chris Brown out of Control !

 

            We all know about the assault that Chris Brown did his ex girlfriend Rihanna. What he did was wrong and unacceptable and shouldn't be taken lightly just because he's a celebrity. I'm not saying Rihanna is not the reason why, not by any means. She may have provoked him or she hit him first .Maybe she did or maybe she didn't but that still doesn't justified what he did. After what happen with Rihanna and him, I think that he changed. He just was arrested in Washington, D.C. this weekend for alleging punching a man who wanted his autograph. His has gotten out of control and need to change his actions and get help his family and friends say.

            Chris Brown has anger management issues and weed and alcohol problem that he needs help with.  His family and friends say that he is a good kid and very responsible when he is not doing drinking or around the people that are bad influences on him. His family and friends think that he needs to go to Rehab and Intensive Therapy to help him. At the point where Chris Brown is at, he need to think about how his actions will/ are effecting his live and the people around him. I also think that people need to realize that the age he is at he has stopped caring and wants to live a little before he gets old.

            Yes Chris Brown is very talented and a big fan of him, but he need to understand stand the he is getting older and need to become more of a role model than someone one that . Just because he is talented and rich doesn't mean you don’t need help. Basically, he thinks that he does not have a problem but can’t admit to himself. Yes we are all stubborn in many ways and not own up to our mistakes. I think Chris brown will realize that he needs the help and hopefully benefit from it.

             I think that people that have issue should just  try to get help even though we all making mistake after mistake, it still  does not make difference  I think they should go and get help for their problem and stay away from anyone or thing that will get in trouble  or put them in danger. Honestly his family and friends care about him and want him to get help. I hope that Chris can see that he has a strong support system and that in life you can’t go at things alone you need a group to hold you up and keep you moving.

Bullying

 We have all heard about that story of  Rebecca Sedgwick who killed herself Sept. 9 by jumping off a cement factory tower. She did it because of bullying. I can’t believe that the girls that did the bullying were about 14 and 15. I think that bullying has become out of hand and it will become worse. I think that because of media and the influence friends , kids think that it’s ok if the media and their friends are doing it. I honestly think that the schools and media need to take a stand to stop this because it has taken so many lives. Lots of kids have to go though this and I honestly feel bad for them because I have once been there myself.

            One thing that the media is good at is getting people hooked to it, because it gives them a “life” even if is distorted or fictitious. Most teens are afraid of “not fitting in” because most of them are afraid of not being accepted. I think that the media shows distorted message to send to young children, teens and adults. A great deal of the public attention has been focused on how bullying has to stop but we are not doing much about it. I think that the media has perceived the pattern of school bullying in different ways. Most of the explanations have left us feeling empty, not fully defining the problem.  

             To my believe ,I think that people are bullies because they want to feel better about themselves, whether they are conscious of what they are doing or not, bullying makes people feel better, but in the long run, it's really a domino effect because bullying can make you feel worse about yourself which then causes you to bully more. I believe that the problem starts at home, with friends, and the media. Most of the people that do the bullying have other deep or important issues that cause them to bully. There had been instances in the past that teens commit suicide imitating her favorite actress. I think that most teens now days only care about what they see on the media. 

 

With all the cell phones, social media Web sites, and online gaming, teens today seem to have more outlets for interacting with each other virtually than they do for interacting with each other in person. However I think that with all of the good social interaction that is done as a result of these technologies also comes the bad. In addition to the physical and verbal bullying that may take place at school, cyber-bullying in the form of harassing text messages and Facebook pages has a large effect on children and teens. I think that people need to think twice before saying or doing something to someone and think about how it could affect the person.

            The influence of media to me is growing stronger and stronger every day. I do think that media is one of the key factors of bullying. If you think about it, the media is largely responsible for inculcating the minds of people with false notions and morbid imageries. They are feeding the minds of innocent young people with violence and other disturbing issues. They inform people on how to do acts that are deemed controversial to the society. There are some television shows and movies that attempt to create an atmosphere to change the view of people towards social issues such as racial discrimination. To me these shows provoke criticism and tend to mislead the picture of reality. In the minds of other people, the effect can be for the better, but some unfortunately for the worse.

             

What Happen to Lindsay Lohan ?

Lindsay Lohan is a very talented actress and singer. But we all know about her drug and alcohol abuse, and her legal troubles. Lindsay Lohan appearance and reputation have been permanently damaged and her career of acting is over. Lindsay Lohan has lost a lot of people respect due to her bad behavior and no matter what she say or do people will always see her as a bad person because of her past.  Her reputation is so bad that the only people who are really willing to hire her are directors for adult films and Playboy. I think that Lindsay Lohan  know better to not do something that could screw up her reputation even more and want to see her get her life and career back together. Yes I understand that everyone makes mistakes and nobody is perfect. I get that, trust me I do but Lindsay Lohan continue to make mistakes and just seem to have no regard and/or respect for life.  

            I think that her friends were a bad influence on her, but at the same time that doesn't excuse Lindsay troubles.  I know we don’t always see our friends a being a bad influence, but sometimes we need to realize it before it gets out of hand and remove them from our life.I think that the friends that had a very bad influence on  Lindsay was Paris Hilton . Lindsay had a lot of her own personal issues before Paris Hilton got in the picture. Paris Hilton probably just made things worse but I don’t think that she is the blame for all of Lindsay problems. In my opinion Lindsay Lohan is an adult who should have acted mature and stayed out of trouble and dealt with their personal issues in a mature way like going to seek therapy. You cannot blame another person for someone's mistakes. She needs to own up to what mistakes she made and take responsibility for their actions.

            I also think Lindsay Lohan mom are the main reason behind Lindsay Lohan bad behavior. Lindsay Lohan mother, Dina was more focus on making money off of Lindsay instead of being the loving, caring parent. I think that is why Lindsay stated to not care do got out of hand. There is a saying that my parents always say “It’s only the parents fault if they are not trying”.  It most have been extremely hard on her knowing that her mom (A person that is loving and always there for you) don't have the love, support she needed from her .The fact that she is a star in Hollywood makes it worse because, living there at a young age like her it is a very cruel and mean lifestyle (with all the paparazzi, the media, the drama, etc.). I personally think that she needs a mother figure in her life because her mother is crazy. Her parents are most likely the reason for her troubles but that is irrelevant at this point because Lindsay Lohan is an adult now and she should have handle her issues in a mature way instead of acting out and getting involved in bad scandals and legal trouble and unfortunately due to her years of drug, alcohol, and legal trouble.

             I think that everyone makes mistakes just cause Lindsay did cocaine does not make her any less of a person I think that people need to look pass what she did and maybe see it from her point of view.  I do not think that Hollywood will forgive what she done even though they let other celebrities off the hook. I think that our so called stars we look up to teach use more about judging other and what they think is right. One thing I want you guys to take away from this blog is we should all think about how it would feel to walk in someone else shoes before we make judgments.

We all have that one celebrity crush that we obsess over and can’t get out of our minds. They have the looks the body and a great personality to our beliefs. Well let’s be honest we don’t take the time to get to know who they are and just base judgment’s on looks and what we want to believe. Having a crash is no big deal right when it comes to a famous person now a day, because most people will never meet them or get to really know who they are. I will tell you my top five guy crush and what role they are playing in society as being a celebrity.

                       
      My fifth celebrity crush is David_Beckham. He is a well known soccer player that plays for England and has been in the Secret Service. I think that he is a very successful man on the soccer feel and off. He is one of my favorite soccer players. One thing that I like about him is that he is very committed to his work and is a good farther to his  four children  Harper, Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz . The reason why he is one of my celebrities crush is because he is very good looks for his age and is a good role model for young soccer player that want to become pro athletes.

 
     My fourth celebrity crush is Dave_Franco; I find him very handsome and a good actor. One thing I like about him is that he stays out of the media. One thing that makes me attracted to him is his beautiful smile. He is the kind of person that will make you laugh with his smile and makes you want to smile too. The  Shalom Life in April of 2012 , ranked Dave and his brother, James, Number two in its list of “the 50 most talented, intelligent, funny, and gorgeous Jewish men in the world.” One reason he is one of my celebrity crush is that he is a very layback guy in general and when he is acting he really plays his part well.

 
   My third celebrity crush is Taylor_Lautner he is an actor, voice actor, model, and martial artist.  Taylor Lautner is best known for playing Jacob Black in The Twilight Saga film series based on the novel by Stephenie Meyer. One thing I like about him is his body. He is very athletic and works hard to keep himself healthy. I like the fact the he is also not in the media a lot and takes his relationships between him and the person he is dating. One reason he is one of my celebrity crush is because I’m a little obsessed with him because of his personality and the fact he is not stuck up like some other celebrities. One fact that most people don’t know is that he is going to school and takes online class. He has been one celebrity guys that I really adore and would like to meet some day.   

 
  My second celerity crush is, Daniel Sharman he is a British actor and plays Isaac Lahey in the MTV supernatural drama series Teen Wolf. I think that he is so adorable and has a wonderful smile. I became obsess with him after I stated to watch Teen Wolf. One thing I like about him is his voice. He is from London so he has an accent when he talks, which I think is very cute. I love how layback he is about everything. Daniel and I also have the same birthday month, April. One reason he is one of my celebrities crush is he seems like a funny and nice person to hang out with that has a good personality.
       My number one celerity crush, is Chris_Brown he is a Singer, songwriter, rapper, dancer and actor. I’m in love with Chris Brown. He is so hot and his voice is out of this world. He is my number one because he is good at what he does and does not care what people think about him. I love the fact that he does what he wants and live life to the fullest. One thing I adore about him is that he sings with a purpose. Even though he has had a rough pass he still doesn't hold on to it and moves on with his life. I’m a very big fan and love his music.

Greeting to you all out there that have read my blogs.

I wanted to take

some time and thank you. I want to tell you that this next week, I will be branching out and make all my blog relate to each other.  I will be talking meanly about health, food and products that make celebrities’ feel, rat and look the way they do. I decided that I will do this every once in a while. I will also tie media in to, but it’s meanly going to be about celebrities.    

             One reason I choose heath is that it’s become an important because it gets talked about almost every day and has become very important to our lifestyle. To me Health is a mental and physical. I think that it also take care of personal errands like relationships you have with your family, friends or a potential significant other! Yes! There are good thing about health but there are also bad ways to be healthy and the media has a lot to do with it. I will so talk about celebrities’ health and their extreme exercise I will elaborate more in the next blog on health.        

            My next media topic will be food! I can’t wait to blog about it!  There are many things about food everyone likes. In this blog I will go through some of the healthiest food and what is not so healthy that celebrities eat. I will tell you about celebrities food diets and how the media make it same so easy.  There will be the 101 on food health and how what celebrities eat and how they stay fit.  I don’t want to tell you everything but I hope in this blog you learn something new about celebrities and how it’s not easy for them when it comes to eating right.     

            Last but not lest is products that celebrities use.  There are so many I could talk about that it would take me my whole life time to tell you. I will keep it as simple as possible and give you all the basic creams and herbs celebrities use. I will also discuss about the cost to get a facelift or Botox.  I can’t say anymore but I want you guys to read it and found out for yourself .I hope you come back and read all the blogs.             When you think about the word “Gay” … What do you think of? Do you think of the word happy? I didn’t think so. If you are called that word or know someone that is “Gay” people discriminate against them. It has gotten to a point were being gay is not right in this society.  We do hurtful things and say hurtful words to Gays so they feel like they are not wanted. In my opinion gay people are treated like a floor we step on for no reason. It’s really stupid and immature for people to treat a gay person like that, simply because of a sexual preference.

            I feel like most people have this images that if you are Gay you will never fit in or really be a part of our society. I think that Homosexuality is not a choice, just like heterosexuality is not a choice. One doesn't choose to be straight, just like one doesn't choose to be gay. To me, homosexuality is natural. I mean sexual orientation is not a choice, you're born that way. Just like how some people are clearly born straight. You may not like the liberties they want in their life, but please don't impose it on their life. I don’t think it’s right that people discriminate against gays.  I think in terms of judging a person based on sexuality, it can only be comparable to racism.  I have no issues with gay individuals; they are still people after all, and should be treated jest like the rest of us.

            People need to stop treating gays like they are nobodies and stat seeing them as somebody’s.  The best thing is jest to get along with them. I think that gay people are just regular people. They don’t act any different than a straight person and I find them more understanding and less judging than most. They are very humble and know how to empathize with others. I think that if you are discriminating against gays you are discriminate against people of certain nationalities or religions. Regardless of what you think, you are basing judgments on someone without knowing and understanding their values. I think that people should stop basing their judgments on being gay and jest except the person for who they are.

            I understand why people disapprove of gay people or gay marriage. Usually people who are against same-sex marriage and Homosexuality have religious reasons for doing so...they can't look at issues logically; they just blindly follow their old-fashion belief systems. It’s mostly because of religion, people will discriminate against gays. I understand why because I’m Christian and my parents are strong believers in God and the Bible.  One thing that people think will work to help Homosexuality is by change the way a person think through religion. I don’t think that works all the time. You can’t change someone thinking only if they want to believe in it or not. I know they don’t like gay people but they treat them as humans.  The Bible and word of god says that love is something two people share together right. What I don’t understand is why people say that being gay is not a form of being loved.  How I see this is love is love, isn’t it? People should accept it.

            I feel like gay marriage has become a “social” issue. We talk about it as if it’s a TV show. Why can’t people jest accept same-sex marriage? People are also afraid that by Gays getting married it will somehow ruin the sanctity of their marriage. I just don’t see how, seeing how marriage does not involve anyone but the 2 people getting married. It’s not them getting married! Truth is who cares? Honestly, it’s their life! People will be gay regardless, so why should they care if they're married or not? If you aren't gay, it doesn't affect you in the slightest. If you're against homosexuality, or it makes you uncomfortable, why do you care what people you don't know do with their lives? Quite frankly, I could care less; it’s their life and their decision. I don’t know why people like putting their noise in everything in America, but don’t like when someone else does it.

            Honestly people just need to leave them alone and stop being so concerned about what they are doing and worry about their own life. Difference is what makes our world such an amazing place. I don’t think it’s such a big deal these days to be gay. In America we deserve the freedom to live our lives the way we want to, and to be treated jest like everyone else. Human right is a big part of our society, but I don’t think people get what it means.  We should not judge people for being Gay; it’s their life and their decision I think that we as people are a minority here in America; we believe in our rights and should follow the golden rule.

Anti Rihanna

Robyn Rihanna Fenty also known as Rihanna is a well knowing singer some people may say. Well I want to start off by saying I’m not a big fan of her. If I could say one word that describes who she is it will be harlot. I know that sounds like a rude think to say but I have never really liked her form when she started her music career.  You may already know from reading about my other blogs that I really don’t like to judge celebrities if I don’t know them. I guess that makes me a hypocrite when I say that I don’t like Rihanna. In this case you can call me one but I think that it’s my opinion on how I see her.

            One thing that I don’t like about her is that a lot of her music is provocative and what she’s wears in her videos makes her look even more disgraceful than she already does. What I don’t understand is why she’s not getting called out for all the crazy things she does in her music video but when other singers do the same as her they get called sluts, even if they don't do anything. I’m also not a big fan of Beyonce, because in my opinion I don’t think she is as good as everyone says she is.  One thing that gets me mad is why Beyonce and Rihanna don’t get called names? Does anyone see what they wear in their music videos? How about what Rihanna sings about? Don't get me wrong, but how come Rihanna doesn't get names called at her?

            Rihanna new music video has gotten out raged from her fans. She made a new music video to her song “Pour It Up’’. She looks like a harlot and the way she is dress and the things she is doing does not make her appearances any better for the public. I do not suggest you watching the music video if you are 15 or younger. Most of her fans do not like what came from this video. To be honest I really think people need understand that Rihanna has always been like that.  Why people are now jest seeing how she really is. This shows you that most people jest go off popularity status.             There are some things I like about Rihanna (but there not a lot to be honest) . I give her a hand for doing outstanding work in four world countries and for the many accomplishments she has made at her age. For a fact I don’t “hate” her but I don’t like the way she presents herself. I think that if she was more respectful to her choice in what she does when it comes to music or any other aspects in her life, people would like her even more. I don’t want you to think I’m trying to tell you what I think Rihanna should be like, in my opinion it could help her, not that it will. I concluded that I will not be a Rihanna fan or ever think about being one, that’s why I will stick with being Anti-Rihanna.
